schematic layout by project lead engineer<\/li>\n<li>Professional responsibility for accurate design calculations<\/li>\n<li>Timely preparation of design and advise of the same to the project heads<\/li>\n<li>Internal check-up\u00a0 of design documents<\/li>\n<li>Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formula, skills and experience<\/li>\n<li>May be assigned to do schematic or conceptual layouts<\/li>\n<li>Research design options and document findings for project lead engineer<\/li>\n<li>Review drawings<\/li>\n<li>Create and verify layouts, design, structural and detail drawings and equipment bills of material for material handling equipment<\/li>\n<li>Modify and revise condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment<\/li>\n<li>Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance<\/li>\n<li>Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short and long term strategic safety planning and development<\/li>\n<li>Order and maintain facility safety inventory including supplies and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Work within company policy as outlined in the Employee Handbook and in compliment with the Safety Manual and Safety rules<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned<\/li>\n<li>Researches new regulations and developments in the field of Health and Safety and recommend changes in the company\u2019s program<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the documentation and implementation of required or desired changes in the safety program<\/li>\n<li>Writes job specific Safety plans; schedules jobsite visits and safety audits<\/li>\n<li>Ensures full compliance of safety plan<\/li>\n<li>Controls hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee practices through site visits, safety plans, and education of all supervisory personnel<\/li>\n<li>Reviews documentation to ensure all required onsite records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Reinforces safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improved morale<\/li>\n<li>Accompanies all safety, health and insurance inspectors on walk through inspections<\/li>\n<li>Conducts work area inspections and assists in personal injury investigations<\/li>\n<li>Provides job orientation to crew at job sites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor&#8217;s\/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board\/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication\/Tool &amp; Die\/Welding), Engineering (Environment\/Health\/Safety), or equivalent.\u00a0Certifications with COSH, BOSH, Mining &amp; GeoSciences Bureau are of an
